Troubleshooting

Q: Cue Player stops or will not start.
A: We have seen this happen sometimes in Firefox 4 and expect a fix soon. Restarting your browser will solve it temporarily. If you're not using Firefox 4, make sure Javascript is enabled and Flash Player 9 or newer is installed.
Q: When I try to listen, I am asked what application to use.
A: This usually means you have no compatible player applications installed.
If you know you have a player and want to troubleshoot some more, skip to the next question. If not, use Cue Player or download one of these free players:

Note: Mobile Internet access can be very expensive over time, use Wi-Fi when possible with phones and PDAs.
Q: When I try to listen with a player application, nothing happens.
A: Your browser might be set up to choose the wrong application to deal with our stream. Installing or removing applications can break these so-called associations.
The problem is often best solved by reinstalling the player you want to use. For the brave ones among you, we have included a guide for fixing associations in Firefox:
  • Open the «Tools» menu and choose «Options».
  • Choose «Applications».
  • Type "x-scpls" (without quotes) in the search box.
  • One item should appear followed by an action.
  • Click on the action and choose the player you want to use.

Web browser compatibility

Our website is tested to work with the latest versions of Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome and Internet Explorer. Cue Player needs Flash Player version 9 or newer. Javascript must be enabled.
